The Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) serves as the Secretariat for the Nuclear Security Project, in cooperation with the Hoover Institution.

The Project Secretariat is responsible for coordinating the work of the four project principals as well as managing the implementation of the project. Activities include:

  • Designing, implementing and managing activities.
  • Coordinating external outreach, both domestically and internationally, that can help promote dialogue, education, and action on the vision and steps.
  • Assessing opportunities around the world to promote the project objectives.

The Nuclear Security Project recognizes the generous support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the MacArthur Foundation, and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
